A view of Criots-Batard-Montrachet from Le MontrachetI only tasted a small sip of this wine, but it has left a long impression. The 2006 Fontaine-Gagnard, Criots-Batard-Montrachet, Grand Cru combined grand cru richness with tremendous minerality. A couple months ago I sampled a 2006 premiere cru from this domaine and was equally impressed. Fontaine-Gagnard appears to have hit a home run in 2006.
